Hi there.

I own an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 (WiFi) Model. I am planning to use MyWi to tether my iPhone4's 3G internet to use on iPad. i live in japan and my carrier is Softbank and they told me that they dont allow tethering, i was wondering how they get to know that i am tethering??

I live in Atsugi, and although i have had my Iphone less than a week i have been tethering with it all day using the 3g and wifi as my sources.

I know people that have done it for months now. no overcharges/problems

all you need to do is jailbreak it.

What app you are using for tethering? MyWi or Pdanet?

BTW i have heard providers can trace tethering by MAC addresses, is it?
