I purchased many apps for my iPad and am planning to purchase the new iPhone, I do not currently have one. Are apps purchased for the iPad available for download without rebuying on the iphone?

Thanks.

1. Where do you see if they are "universal"

2. What about apps that are only made for iPhone but you can still download them on an iPad?

Apps that are made only for iPhone can still be used on iPads but not vice versa. You can tell if it is Universal in the App Store. It will have a "+" near the price (or Open if you already have it downloaded on your iPad) Also if you click on it and scroll down it will give you more info on what devices the app is compatible with (this is useful if you are getting and old iPhone or iPad)
