Looks like the 2014 15" rMBP is comparable or even better in a lot of ways.

But I do think that I stand corrected on many points regarding the 2015 rMBP. If you aren't heavily using OpenCL applications, AND if you aren't upgrading from an older chip with significantly less VRAM, you really should consider just buying a used or refurbished Crystalwell to save some money, and then resell it when Skylake comes out.
