When Safari Beta 3.0 was released a number of issues came with it, such as: other applications would refuse to launch, it would quit unexpectedly, Messenger wouldn'trun and many more that I've picked from reading this and other forums.

Now that Beta 3.0.3 is out, are these issues resolved?

TIA

I still have two issues:

Adium has no translucent message windows :(

Sometimes the address bar contents stick, even when new tabs and windows are created, so instead of a white background, I am typing over text, until I restart Safari...

Ok. Being that there are no more takers, let me rephrase the question:

If I install Safari 3.0.3 and want to go back to Safari 2, can it be easily done?
By easy I mean just uninstall 3 and reinstall 2, without a major system reinstall.

TIA

Yes. You can. Simply install 3, if you don't like it, run the 3 installer again. The uninstaller is bundled in the package, and will roll back to Safari 2.

Great. I'll install vrs. 3 and if run into problems just backtrack.

Thank you.

Just a quick update to those following the thread...or those with Safari 3 issues.

I installed 3.0.3 and have had NO problems at all whatsoever. No crashes, no beach balls, no problems with MSM or any other applications I have tested so far (CSC Suit, Mail, Maya, iTunes and a couple more).
