Hey fellow iMac-ists,
let me ask a possibly very stupid question.

When peeking at current-gen iMacs in stores, I couldn't help but notice that to my eyes the stuff on the 27-inch screen is smaller than on the 21.5-inch, such as the menu bar being not as tall.
Is it just an impression due to the bigger screen and higher resolution, so that the menu bar looks comparatively smaller, or is it actually smaller? If so, how long did it take you to get used to it?

TY!

The 27" iMac has a slightly larger PPI (109) compared to the 21.5" iMac (102), thus while having the same resolution (Menu Bar is 22 pixels high), items appear a teeny bit smaller.

Ah, I hadn't thought about looking the PPI value on Wikipedia. I knew it was a stupid question, but glad to know my eyes aren't failing me too badly. :D
