I'm new to the whole world of skins I plan on buying from dbrand. Do they protect your phone? Do they damage it long term? Do they last? I heard you have to use a hair dryer to put them on? surely thats dangerous. XD

I can only tell you about one skin company - Nuvango (formerly gelaskins). Those are absolutely safe, and I've peeled them off devices without issue before. They do a great job of scratch protection too.

Hopefully someone with dbrand experience will chime in.

I've used Best Skins Ever on dozens of products (and many many phones). Never an issue. I don't use a hair dryer on them either, though it shouldn't be a problem. Usually that's just to help them adhere after you've applied them. Only requires a little heat from a distance.

I've used skins on my iphones for several generations now....

I don't like a case but I want some protection and personalization....

I've never had an issue and all have peeled off without residue...

yes I use a hairdryer....

I've used DecalGirl skins on most of my devices for 6-7 years now. No residue but the front decals did not stay on for long, the case kept pushing up the edges. Good selection to choose from and choice of matte or glossy finish.
