Hi Everyone,

I ordered the iPhone 6 Plus with the official Apple Leather Black case for it. I had the official Apple Leather Case for my 5S and LOVED IT.

However, I just noticed that the bottom of the case for the 6 Plus is cut off, leaving my new 8 gazillion dollar device prone to scratches and scuffs. I should have noticed it before I ordered it, but I was in the midst of the pre-order madness and wanted to make sure I got one before they sold out.

I was looking at Spigen cases which actually look pretty nice. There's a clear one that says it's "Yellowing Resistant" but I don't know how true that is. Anyone know if the clear one yellows and that they're just trying to take my money?

There's also this gun metal one that looks really nice too:

However, they are pretty inexpensive, so I wasn't sure of the quality. Does anyone have any experience with Spigen? Please advise! My goal is to have a nice case that's slim (hate those otterboxes...I feel if I got an Otterbox defender for my 6 Plus, I would be carrying around a VHS tape)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Nice looking case. I ordered the Spigen Capsule TPU, as a temporary case until Magpul releases the field case.

Mine was only $7.99. Hopefully it lasts a couple of months.

How easy is it to get your phone in and out of these? I'll have a separate running armband and am looking for something that is easy to go between two cases. Thanks.

I actually ordered the one you provided a link to in your OP. It looks great, but I have to say it feels cheap like it wouldn't provide much protection, although I am coming from otterbox so I am use to the max protection. We'll see how it holds up..

Agree, excellent quality and craftsmanship. I have been using them since they were SGP.

I've never had an issue (so far) with their cases, but they are not great at answering questions via email, twitter, Facebook.

I have used the spigen ultra hybrid ( I think that's it's name) it's basically like a bumper with a clear back and it's protected my iPhone 5 many times & it's great quality!

Same as everyone else, great quality/feel to every Spigen case I've owned. One thing that I'm surprised no one has mentioned is the quality of their screen protectors. I've personally never been a fan of screen protectors on my phone but ever since I tried one that was included with one of my Spigen cases, I've never gone back. No hazy, tacky/bumpy orange peel look and feel like you get with some bigger names like Zagg. Especially on a black phone, even up close it's hard to tell there's anything there at all.

I'm hoping magpul gets the case out quickly for the Plus. It took them over 6 months to get the field case out for the iPad Air.

Generally very good quality but customer service can be hit or miss. Had to cancel an order a while back after waiting a month and emailing them several times without a single response. Others have had issues, too. Ordering through Amazon with them seems to work much better. The one case I did have was well made, though the TPU portion stretched out quite dramatically after a while. It was a 2-piece bumper. Considering trying the neo hybrid and ordering through amazon.

For my 5s, I used the apple leather case with the soft interior until it started looking crappy. The phone was easily kept looking mint. My finished was perfect. I decided to switch to a Spigen case and that was a mistake. After a couple weeks, my phone had scratches from the grit that inevitably gets between the case and the phone. The worst grit marks were the shape and size of the exposure "hole" around the apple symbol. If that isn't proof, nothing is.

Other than that, it was a sharp looking case that would easily protect the phone from a drop. For the 6+, I'm sticking with the apple case to prevent the grit marking.

Agreed.
They had a lot on their plate last year with the move. Hopefully it is out by Christmas.

Ive had about 14-15 spigen cases for all my phones since the SGS3. They all have been very good except when they first came out for GS3. Ordered the Tough Armor for iPhone 6+, which was great on my 5s and SGS5. Slim Armors are awesome as well. I switch back in forth between those two.

The only ones that are meh are the clear ones because it gets kind of sticky/yellowish after time, but they are cheaper so you can buy a new one if it turns yellow. I plan on buying a Mint Tough Armor, Mint Slim Armor, and a Mint Neo Hybrid.

One more thing I dont like is how they added the hole in the back on the Slim Armor as well. Its always been like that on Tough Armors but the Slim didnt have it before. I hate that hole.

I came from using otterbox commuter and defender cases. I bought my 1st spigen tough armor case last year for my 5s. I covered the whole in the back with the plastic from my otterbox case. I dropped my phone plenty of times and even flung out of hands and hit concrete hard and phone is still in brand new state. I just didn't like the sharp hard rubber on the edges. I'm thinking of trying the slim and the neo hybrid but afraid they don't provide enough lip to protect phone.

They make great cases that protects well at a decent price. Their packaging is also easy to open, no scissors/knife required.

That is exactly what I did. Hopefully Magpul gets their cases out soon.
