Since battery is same.. processor is better and gfx is better... there should be less battery in 2011 model right? Sure processor is supposed to consume less power due to new processes... but we've got 4 cores in the 15'' using the same battery as it did before...

The claim is that it can run 7 hours even with flash running? (read this in someones post, don't remember which)

If these battery life tests are the same as the stricter ones in the Macbook Air... then why does Flash cut down the battery life by 50% on the advertised battery life for the Air?

Something just doesn't seem right.

There's not less battery. It's the same battery. Apple's estimate of battery life is simply adjusted to make it more realistic.

That is not Apple's claim.

Apple's tests that they use for their estimates do not include Flash. Visiting sites with Flash will place more demands on the GPU/CPU and therefore, on the battery.
