Are the 12's going to get a smart battery case?

As I remember they came out as late as January in the past, with a September phone release, so maybe next month or so ?

I think whenever there is a design change, they dont launch a battery case immeditaely. The X never got one (the Xs case did fit the following year), so lets see if the 12 does.
