Click to expand... I had both plastic and now UMB and although better, they're still pretty bad, esp if you listen to nicer headphones a lot

Well, uh, duh? They're notebook speakers. Why would they compare to nice headphones at all?

I got a set of speakers w/ subs and they won't work w/o subs plugged in, and I live in an upstairs apt.. so they don't get much use.
