Going on Apple's website, I was very impressed with the 3G speeds of the iPhone 3GS- almost too impressed. Anyone think this is going to end up like the big fiasco with the ads that the 3G faced? Or are the internet and app-opening speeds really that fast?

Can't wait to try the 3GS out at the Apple Store. App launching seems easily 2-3x faster.

I mean if you've ever tethered your iPhone 3G to a computer, you'd know you can definitely tell the difference. There is definitely a level of processor-induced lag in loading websites on a 3G compared to a laptop, so....I'd guess it's probably pretty snappy now.

Makes sense. I'll be sure to try one out at an Apple store as soon as they come in!
