I'm selling my old iPhone on eBay and I'm going to include the new accessories which came with my new iPhone 3G since I have no use for them. I thought it would be nice for the person who buys my iPhone to get a fresh set of earphones along with a new dock cable and a new power adapter.

However, I'm wondering if the earphones included with iPhone 3G are different to those which were packaged with the original. I know they changed the headphone jack, but are the actual buds and their connector any different?

They're identical.

Bleh

Unfortunately.. I have to say those are some god-awful earphones. Why keep making that style when the in-ear type of earphone is soo much better?
