Everything I've seen so far says that you have to buy games separately, through iTMS. Does this mean that they're restricted to countries with iTMS?

iPod Are the games available internationally?

I saw the banner listing Games in ITunes UK so it is available in other countries besides the USA. You'll have to go to your country's Itunes site and see what is available as a result of ITunes 7.

is the iTS even available in NZ yet?

So you're both saying that they're only available in selected countries, whereas Apple NZ is "conveniently" not mentioning the new iPod at all, and are linking to the US specs. I wonder whether I'd have cause to complain if I bought one and can't get any games.
Edit: Hmm, I'm watching the presentation and Steve clearly states that they're available worldwide. I guess I'll find out when my iPod comes.
Edit 2: Apple NZ have added the new iPod to their site, and there is absolutely no mention of games (although one of the photos is of it running Bejewelled). I've sent them an email, and will post back when I get a reply.
