hi,

i just bought these Logitech Z-5500 speakers for really really cheap at dell.com..i was so excited that i didnt even think if those speakers are compatible with my macbook or not.So can anyone please tell me if they are or not and if they are not is there any way that i can make them compatible with my macbook?:(

if they can take a stereo-mini input (virtually all computer speakers can) you're good to go.
 
With the proper optical audio cable they'll be fine. The speakers themselves don't require anything extra in order to be "compatible" beyond an input method that they can accept.
