Are the refreshed displays not reaching UK soil?

I was curious if the updated displays are now shipping in the UK because i remember a thread earlier claiming Apple was still shipping older displays instead of the newer ones i.e 700:1 contrast and lower brightness compared to the 800:1 contrast ratios and brighter panels which was advertised on their site.?

I just got a 23" - build date is second week of December '06 according to the serial number. I'd guess that it's an updated one from that, but to be honest it looks great either way.
