iPhone XR Are the screen width same for 8+ and XR?

I know the screen width of the 8+ is a bit wider than the XS, and the XS Max is wider than the 8+.

So those the XR match the 8+ screen width exactly? Since im thinking of switching soon i don't want to lose any screen real estate.

For videos that i watch they look very close, but the 8+ looks just a smidge wider still.

Xr is 9/100in smaller in width, but obviously bigger in length.

But the stats you showed in the apple compare is for the overall device width and not the screen width

It's actually a lot more noticeable than it looks in that diagram. I thought I wouldn't feel the difference, but I do. Especially in 16:9 video content.

I actually thought the Max was a little wider than 8+ but i guess not
