I know that the Retina MacBook Pro has improved new speakers, but does anyone know if the new Air 11", or 13" has newer speakers?
Also, I have heard the speakers in the keyboard on the 13" last year and thought they were a great improvement over my version 2 air- were the 11" Air speakers as loud and clear as the 13" Airs?? If they were the same I might go with an 11" this time. Thanks

I feel like the speakers are the last thing I care about when it comes to a laptop.

Thanks, are the 11" Air speakers the same (as loud) as the 13". Some people don't like to wear headphones/ earplugs all the time for sound...

I've got Bose external speakers on my home office desk, but like to listen to music without headphone will web surfing in chairs, etc.
I also have a 26" monitor for the air, just can't decide between an 11, and 13 inch- if the speakers are the same quality - I might get the new 11".

Huh? When you buy products that are designed to be all-in-one solutions then you prefer some components to be external? Weird

When you buy an all-in-one product that maximizes size and weight, then "Yes", you don't expect amazing stereo sound.

Considering the size limitation the Air puts out very good sound. I have a larger Windows laptop which doesn't sound half as good, and of course has the handicap of running Windows, which is why I switched to the Mac in the first place.
