How long is the wait at the King of Prussia and Suburban Square stores? Has anybody purchased a phone in the last couple days from these stores?

Also remember reading here the AIM app could be used for texting. Could someone explain to me how you would receive texts through AIM?

Thanks. I appreciate the help.

Last time I was in KoP, yesterday, the wait was still (STILL!) about two hours, more or less. Couldn't tell ya about Ardmore.

the AIM app works over a data service not a SMS....so your gonna get it for free. :D(we found that out because, the ipod touch also has the AIM app, and they dont have a AT&T plan, and no way of getting charged for txts)

you will be able to send texts from aim to someone else's phone and then they can reply to it... just like you can on normal AIM now... However, you wont be able to receive a text from someone unless they send you an IM from AIM or if you send them a text from AIM first.

I was there yesterday and they said they had some in stock and would be selling them today and tomorrow.

For some reason they stopped selling them early
