Are there any alternatives to using a case on the Macbook Pro to protect its outside?

I want something to protect my computer from scratches and everything since it would help a lot when I want to sell it but I don't want to buy a Speck case or whatever they are called.
I think they are too big.

Are there any products that are a lot thinner that I can use?

I have the Moshi palmguard and I love it but I want something for the back.

in terms of protection u cant really do anything better than speck. its the best form fitting case available, and i dont think it makes it to big...especially comapred to some pc laptops LOL

invisible shield is a cool idea but one, u cant take it off after u put it on and its just a skin so it wont protect ur macbook from small dents or dings

so u can either go with speck or just do nothing
