Like to enable my Scarlett 18i20 to be nice with my Rane sixty two and serato to be on together? Or let the Scarlett stay in control but just to allow Swrato to run without using Rane's audio card?

I haven't tested this although I imagine if you create an aggregate device in Audio / MIDI setup you should be able to do this.

You don't need a special app. The ability to combine multiple interface into an "aggregate device" is built into Mac OS X. Look at the Audio MIDI setup App.

Nice I'll try this in the morning. It's not a big deal but I hate going into system pref and Changing the soundcard just to mix on serato. Currently if I have it set to the 18i20 and boot up sets to and turn on the mixer it will just crash. To have them be able to live together would be great.

Is there any steps to this or I should be able to figure aggregate device ok?

Update: ok I got anxious and I just tried it now using instructions on Apple's site.

I've followed it to a T but Serato still crashes when opening. I've even selected my aggregate profile in preferences but now I stead of crashing right when it opens, it opens and crashes before both decks appear. Any advice?

Bump anyone?

about the aggregate. You can actually do as many as you want. Really easy.

I have a few. Soundflower+ others.

Apple is great for Audio isn't it?

I did the aggregate option, but I'm still encountering the problem with Serato and Scarlett. Any ideas?

I would try swapping out interfaces to see if it's hardware. Actually, that's most likely it, but I don't know. Reboots, etc.

Ok, so my interface now is the UAD Apollo and Serato. I was still having the problem up until recently after the new Serato update. I'm still not able to set an aggregate without Serato crashing but when I leave apollo as the input and output source, I can still use my Serato concurrently without having to select the sixty-two drivers. Finally!
