Are there any features or technologies that are not in this upgrade?

I know that some people were hoping for a retina screen option, though besides this, are there any other technologies that should have been available with this new upgrade? Are there any features or specs that didn't make it into this upgrade that will likely come next year? Did this upgrade meet your expectations?

this is a non-issue unless you're currently limiting the bandwidth of the current port. This is impossible with low grade accessories.
