Hello

I've been looking for any Ad blocking/ Pop Up blocker software for the Mac, there doesn't seem to be much software out there for this issue.

I have the 'Block Pop Up Window Checked' in my browser settings, but things still appear.

I have seen these sites:

http://www.batista.org/zapper.html

http://www.popup-killer.info/mac/

http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/8458/pop-up-zapper

But keep getting an error window when trying to run the pop up zapper

However if anyone can let me know of any old or new software that was or is available.

Thanks.

PopUp Zapper is for Mac OS X 10.1 and 10.2, it does not run on modern versions of Mac OS X as it seems.
What Mac OS X version do you use?
Have you tried MRoogle to search for similar threads yet?

Adblock plus is great and it's a plugin for Safari and Firefox. Probably Chrome too, but I don't use Chrome.

Adblock is available on the Safari, Firefox and Chrome extensions/plugins/add-ons page.

Tried ADBLOCK PLUS for FIREFOX and pop up ads still appear, when I've added them to the program.

Do I need to SET or DOWNLOAD a particular filter?

Any more ideas??

I've just Installed Glimmer blocker - are there any tutorials to set it up?

Should I let little snitch 'deny or allow connection?
