I want to buy a new 2012 MacBook Pro non retina and replace the SuperDrive with a 2nd hard rive.

Have Apple changed the internal layout?
Are there any caddys out there that work with the new MBP?

I'm about to order the exact same Macbook Pro you have. Only difference is I will put 2 750GB 7200 HDDs in it. That machine will replace my Mac Pro.

I love my machine. The SSD made a world of difference over the 5400RPM drive. System Start-Up is around 10 seconds.

I went for a hybrid HDD and that already made a huge difference. 2 750GB SSDs are just too pricy for me. One day though...:D

Yeah of that storage size they would be. That is why I went with a 256GB SSD. Could have used more but I had already spent $2199.
