Are there any iPad reseller that doesn't charge sales for shipping to North Carolina?

I called a bunch of them, including MacMall, MacConnections, J&R, B&H.... all said sales tax will be added for NC....... :(

Short of driving to Delaware(no sales tax state), what are my options? :)

Thanks! :)

Pay the sales tax

You could always wait until august.
Or check and see if you get a discount
through your employer to make up the tax.

North Carolina charges about a 8% state sales tax (give or take 0.5%) depending on your county. I think Charlotte's county charges the most.

Even at a max $829 iPad 2 64GB 3G, you are really only saving $66 on sales tax.

While money is money. Time is also money. How much is 66 dollars (max) worth of your time to wait for an iPad?

How much do you waste at Starbucks or other coffee shops each week? How many useless trips do you make with your cat wasting gasoline?

I bet you can find that $66 max tax savings in your daily life.
