Are there any iPhone 8/8 Plus camera HDR on/off comparisons

I am interested in seeing how well the HDR mode on the camera works as the iPhone 7 often made the HDR images too dim. Does anyone have any comparisons of what the same image looks like with HDR on and off, preferably in difficult lighting conditions. Thanks.
