Hi

We are wanting to replace our small TV for the office/small bedroom.

Would like:

<=24 inch
HDTV
1080P (720P ok)
One component input
2 HDMI Ports.

We are located in NYC.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Are you using this as a TV? Or hooked up to a cable box or set top box like Roku/AppleTV/Amazon? If the latter, and 24-in monitor with speakers and an HDMI port will do.

Using as a TV hooked to a cable box.
The only difference between a TV and a computer monitor is the tuner, and maybe better built-in speakers. You don't need a tuner - your cable box is doing that. Your remote controls the cable box. If the cable box has an HDMI out on it, you're all set.

32 inch and smaller are harder and harder to find for the last few years.

Good Luck with the search!

I just did a quick search on BestBuy. They have 4 TVs at exactly 24". Two of them have component (Vizio and LG) and two do not (Sharp and Insignia). I think more and more, you're going to find component inputs disappearing due to the "Analog Loophole" ... although I would have expected all TVs to not have component inputs by now.

We have a VCR player. How would that attach without a component input?

VCR players typically use composite connections (Yellow, Red, White). Component connections have 5 plugs (Red/Green/Blue, Red/White). Unless you have a HD-VCR or a VCR/DVD unit, chances are you have composite connections. Most TVs still have these connections.

I bought an Element brand on Amazon for $68, it is 19 inch and 720p, has one HDMI port, tuner, and component input. I use it in my office with a Roku right now and it looks and sounds good for what I use it for, which is news and sports via the YouTube TV app on the Roku. Have not had one problem with it, it’s a decent little TV.

I've been enjoying my 24 " jvc-white.
1080P -Ethernet.wifi=apps including Netflix and a few others.
Very crisp HD quality picture from sky q mini box via hdmi.
