Im not understanding why my iPad 2 battery seems to drain so much faster than the original so I'm curious if there are any specific Apps that are battery hogs when sitting in the background. I don't really "need" to multitask everything so is there some sort of "Kill All Apps" app like on Android?

Side Rant: Why is the iPad sync cable so short. I've used several extenders and they either slow the charging to a crawl or dont charge at all.

Location-based apps which constantly try to determine where you are.

Graphics intensive games are also a battery killer.

Similar to FroYo and beyond, iOS does a decent job of managing its own apps, so a task killer is not necessary. Plus, iOS apps in the background are mostly suspended, so they don't eat much juice.

Skype is quite commonly complained about app for killing your battery in a day almost. I'm suffering from it right now and am about to uninstall it (after I recharge the iPad)
It seems their push notifications is too eager, they say the drain on your battery is directly proportional to the number of contacts you have.
