I’m really tempted to get a magic keyboard for my 12.9” iPad Pro, but with rumors of a new iPad Pro being released soon, I’m wondering if it’ll be compatible with the current keyboard, or if a new keyboard will be released soon.

Are there any credible rumors (or even somewhat credible) that the new iPad Pro will work with the current keyboard or that we’ll get a new one?

There are no real credible rumors about a new Magic Keyboard

I would imagine that the sources familiar with the matter who talk with Bloomberg would have eluded to it during their most recent article on iPads.

With the recent sales on them, you Dan take two assumption - great deal on current model or there is definitely a new one. Question you have to ask if it a new one will have $100 more value than current one with intermittent sales

The new one might be more like $200 more than the sale price of the current Magic Keyboard.`

I might get the keyboard then.

If they do get released this month, I have a month to return it at least.

If they do release a new one, what would they add? i'm just not sure they will update a new one after 12 months of the first one.

Just guessing: bigger trackpad, media keys, more flexibility (fully back-folding, for example).

There's been zero rumours of a new Magic Keyboard as far as I'm aware; I just wish they would hurry up and announce the new iPad Pro; keen to see what it brings to the table

We will have to see on Tuesday. I would wager on not. The pricing of the keyboard and limited functionality improvements suggest a much slower refresh cycle. Would be hard to justify buying a $300 keyboard every year.

At least they could add battery in it. It will help to iPad more battery life in day to day use.

The price of the current MK is outrageous and Apple should be ashamed of that pricing. even the sellers on ebay view this thing as pure gold, and wont sell even a used one at less than $200 plus. clearly, its the best kb/case combo. but the pricing is insane.
