Dealing with past iPhones, I've had plenty of discolored/yellow/non-uniform screens. Do you all think it will be different this time around?

yea, I cant imagine they will increase QC on screens since most people never notice. I saw several screens with the dark blotch this time around (with the 6)

The good news is you can always get a replacement unit if there is an issue, so I wouldn't be too worried there. Since the replacement stock is separate from retail stock, you won't have to wait for a replacement.

The potential/occasional bad news there is playing that lottery can at times make you end up with something worse.

The future will be here in 10 days. Ask again later.

Gotcha, Magic 8 Ball. :D

With the front page article about backlight units for the 6s+ causing "delays" in production. I can see it now in the weeks after release. Paranoid people who read the article thinking they have a defective backlight when they probably don't.

I'm from the future where we are currently on the iPhone 10 SXY (future number, don't worry about it). If i can remember, the iPhone 6s screens started to slide right off the phone. So yeah. Screen problems.

So keep getting replacements until you get one you are satisfied with. I get that it's a process if you care that much about it, but it's still better than the competition.
