Why did you feel the need?

I created mine years ago, and have recently created multiple IDs for different purposes. Now, I feel the need to change the Apple ID to the one that I’ve kept exclusively for login purposes.

My purchases on the app store are negligible. Are there any other issues that may crop up and due to which I should reconsider my decision of getting a new Apple ID?

Thanks

I changed mine after I moved back to the US after 40 years in Canada. I also had an old mac.com ID and wanted mine to reflect my current situation. I will probably never change it again. No issues after changing it. All my purchases and subscriptions worked fine.

I had an Apple ID with an e-mail address for a company I used to work for. Some of my music uses that Apple ID so I can't play them any more.

I see. Since I am not worried about losing any content, then it looks like I should be able to just a new Apple ID?

What about using the old phone numbers with the new ID? Is it possible that this could lead to some kind of conflict and create issues with setting up properly?

Thanks
