Are there no more double-click shortcuts?

So are there no more double-click shortcuts since there is multi-task now? Is there any other method for short-cuts? I used to double click to access my camera. Any help is appreciated.

If you jailbreak, you can use Activator to assign different button presses and screen gestures to launch certain apps.

Without jailbreaking a double press of the home button will do nothing except fast app switching and you can't use any other shortcuts.

They should bring back double-click and hold
