Are there still lines for the new iPad?

This thread is rather stupid, but I am going to be purchasing my iPad tomorrow at a North County [San Diego, CA. Area] best buys. Anyway, are there still lines like there sort of was on launch day. I haven't had much time to "look" because of finals for college as well as not being 100% sure if I want an iPad and of course about all the bestbuys in my location being OOS (or so they told me).

So just curious if I should go early tomorrow or just show up close to 10 for it. This is my first iPad and from what i have read, there haven't really been many lines out there.

Why not just call your local Best Buy and ask if they have them in stock? Asking here makes no sense.
 
There were no lines and plenty of inventory at the apple store in Annapolis, MD, the other day. I walked in shortly after the store opened and was on my way in 20 minutes with a new iPad.
 
Stopped into Best Buy yesterday to get my Smart Cover. It looked like they still had a pretty good variety in stock. I didn't look to see which models they were though. This was in Dallas, Texas.
 
Walked in and out of the one in Jersey around 11am today with a brand new spanking iPad. The whole wait was the guy going into the back and getting one.
 
Just walked out of an Apple Store in the Arrowhead Mall today (Phoenix, AZ). No lines whatsoever, they have stock, and they're just the normal Saturday busy crowd.

Sadly I had to make my iPad AppleCare+ genius appointment for next week, I didn't want to wait 3 hours. :)
 
I got mine the day they were released. Walked up to the apple store expecting a huge crowd and there was no line at all. They still had tons of iPads as well...
 
not at the Apple store where i go to school, I had to get my phone replaced and i saw about 4-5 people just walk in, ask for an iPad, a 2012 one, and purchase it and walk out, granted, idk what specific ones they were buying but they were the new ones and they weren't iPad 2's.
 
I didn't see any lines here in Italy. I just saw 1 customer buying one while I was there.
 
ahh cool It's weird since every spankin' store seems to be OOS of these iPads. I called two stores, and I asked one of them to check the inventory for all the neighboring Best Buys, and they said they were all out of stock. So i was just wondering if there still might be tons of people waiting to purchase an iPad or something.

How odd, maybe our Bestbuys didn't get too much stock?

I live north of you in Temecula and saw about 20+ behind the locked glass case just sitting there. Waiting for you.
 
you can order on the apple website and choose in store pickup. It'll let you check the local stores to see if they have what you want in stock before ordering.
 
lolz this is soo weird. I have to use up some G.C.'s / rewardzone certificates from BestBuy that's why I am going through BestBuy. But wow! I guess BestBuy got fewer iPads than other resellers or my area is just messed up.

Haha.
 
Before you go into bestbuy you can check online from their website whether they have the model you want in store.
