I scored some money from selling my "HackBook Air" and I am on a new PPC laptop shopping spree.

I picked up a1107 and a1138 models for $40US each in mint condition.

I don't see why I can't use it as a reference, a quick search on EBay UK shows an a1138 for 74EUR.

You can use it as a reference but quoting US prices isn't going to work..

UK prices are not continent prices and especially not Romania/Poland/Czech either. If you found a computer on ebay.co.uk priced in EUR you found a rare bird.

The Delphi's in the Quads don't leak as much as the ones in the Dual 2.5GHz and the Dual 2.7GHz G5s. The LCSes improved greatly over the few years Apple used them, and the Quads have the most reliable LCS

Thanks for the info.... But my tiny room (3x3 m of actual living space) is kind of... less spacious. And I don't have space for any new... Mom says : Stupid and obsolete macs.

I know how you feel! I don't have that much room for Macs either, just my desk!

I'm limited for room/desk space, I just stack my old notebooks in a dish drying rack and have a KVM looped through it... amusingly it works great for keeping 'em cool in clamshell mode :D

Besides Central/Eastern Europe having skewed used Apple prices, so many "Americans" forget there is plenty of Europeans using MorphOS/AmigaOS4 to maintain using Amiga software so 15" PowerBook G4(Radeon 9700) & Mac mini 1.42/1.5Ghz(Radeon 9200) remain popular. Heck in Northern New England/Quebec/New Brunswick some community cable stations still use Video Toaster or the text broadcast functions as AmigaOS is rock solid and in some cases just as reliable as OS X.
