Are these recognised iOS8 faults, or is it my hardware?

6+ 64gb here, no wifi issues, I do get the unresponsiveness in safari landscape.
Random phone freezing is very rare maybe had it a few times total.
Don't have Facebook so can't comment on that.
Other apps crashing is a rare occurrence as well.

It's the phone freezing and WiFi I'm especially bothered about, the rest I assume to be software-related. Thanks for your input.

I've neither experienced these issues. I have heard of dropping wifi connections but these wouldn't be exclusive to iOS 8 and in fact all operating systems have that issue at some point. The safari thing I've heard of but not al that much. Crashing may be due to poor coding by Facebook or problems with APIs or both.

Still in the 14 day return period with my carrier. If this is software-related then I'll wait for a fix but the freezing thing is a little off-putting, hence why I'm putting the feelers out...

I've had these issues lately and I'm starting to believe it is a software problem.

When surfing in Safari I am frequently unable to tap/click a link unless I swipe down to move nudge the page a little. Then I can tap.

When moving apps around on my iPhone I've been unable to stop the apps from flashing by hitting the home button. I've had to go in to sleep mode and once just completely reboot the phone.

I've had some random, but temporary, freezing. Never mind the slew of issues I've had with Carplay after this last update.

64GB 6+ here:

1) Never - WiFi has been rock solid from day one, both at home and on other networks.

2) Haven't used Safari in landscape mode.

3) Not one freeze or respring.

4) Facebook is a bit slow to load, but no crashes.

Are you on iOS 8.1.1?

Did you update OTA?

Reason I ask is, my mate who has the same phone (not on this forum) done an OTA update to 8.1.1 and he had much the same issues although not exactly the same IIRC. He then tried updating 8.1.1 via iTunes (holding the shift button) and restored his phone. He's never had any problems since.

I also done an OTA update to 8.1.1 to find issues, to cut a long story short, done what he done and now have no issues either.

I'm pretty sure he nor I will be updating OTA ever again after the problems caused.

How did you manage to add 64Gb to your iphone?

Safari - yes
Wifi - yes till I did a manual restore via iTunes
Phone freezing - is this in an app or..... I have had apps freeze
App crashes - yes - take a look at your Diagnostics and Usage stats - most of mine have been low mem or Jetsam Event items (both RAM issues)

Recommend a restore via iTunes. Helped me.
