Heya

I've got one of the first run intel imacs and i've currently got 2x512mb memory, would like to upgrade to 2x1gb sticks.

now this is the criteria from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1432

"You can use small-outline dual inline memory modules (SO-DIMMS) of 512 MB or 1 GB that meet all of these criteria:

* PC2-5300
* unbuffered
* nonparity
* 200-pin
* 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

DIMMs with any of the following features are not supported in this iMac:

* registers or buffers
* PLLs
* ECC
* parity
* EDO RAM"

Is this what I want
http://www.cheapmemory.com.au/CHEAP...er-Talent-life-time-LAPTOP-MEMORY-CM1519.html
(doesn't say PC2, just PC. doesnt say unbuffered, nonparity or 200pin)

or from MSY there's one listed as this
1G DDR2 Adata/SuperTalent/G.Skill/Kingston
(even less info than above)

So are those what I need? I'm trying to call msy to get them to tell me if they meet the above criteria but they're engaged (like usual)

If that's not what I'm after, can someone please advise me?

Thanks heaps

Yes

That will work. Maybe that's a brand and company people are more familiar with in AU. But, I lived in Perth, WA and never used them. When I ordered my ram for my old MBP, I used OWC, I know they deliver to WA and NSW, so I'd assume they deliver to where ever you are.. it's about 10bucks delivery though. The link below is the one you need.

Thanks, but Im actually in Australia so I was more wondering if the 2 examples I posted are the right ones or not

cheers
