Hey Mate,
There have been rumors of upcoming revisions, while other rumours suggest the product is simply on its way out. It's very hard to tell.
Regardless, I'd suggest staying away from the Mini at this point. I was undecided as well, and went for a 20" iMac. They are more complete and modern and offer quite good value too. The fact the you have to add a monitor, keyboard and mouse to the mini is just a pain.

I think we'll see an iBlender or an iEspresso from Apple's new Kitchen division before a new mini.

My parents have a brand new massive kick ass sony HD tv. They were given a free PS3 with it, but it is kind of wasted on them.
I would love a mini, preferably with the same interface as
TV and the option of renting movies (please Steve, if you are listening).
It would save them a lot of hassle. As well as asking me every couple of days what to do next.
