Are the new Macbook Pro's in retails stores yet?

Im in the UK - so interested as to when the swap over of Demo products would have happened?
 
likely will be there when the retail store opens as they are not going to swap demo units midday

It was just out of interest.

Asking on here some may have been to stores where they had, and others where they hadn't. Just interested how the stores would work.

I guess then here in the UK they will be there tomorrow as they wouldn't have had them in the store when it opens which was before the announcement.

they are at Fairoaks Apple store. The guy on the phone said they had htem but will be unable to sell them until the online store comes back. He said to keep an eye on it.

Lakeside - can't get through
Bluewater - No, don't know when they'll get them
Cambridge - No, but should be very soon
Regents Street - Yes and claim that every apple store should of had a delivery of them.

Why are you calling all these stores? What is your purpose?

To find a store near me that has one?

Cambridge, grays and lakeside are drivable and regent street I can jump on the train and as other stores don't have them in i was wondering if the flagship store did.
 
Will they just have the base models in the retail stores, or will they also stock 15" with the higher res display?
 
All Apple Stores will only have the models that have a MC part number attached to them....

MC700LL/A - 13" Low End - $1199
MC724LL/A - 13" High End - $1499
MC721LL/A - 15" Low End - $1799
MC723LL/A - 15" High End - $2199
MC725LL/A - 17" Standard Config - $2499

I'm trying to find out the same thing at the moment. Called two stores so far -- one said they only have the high-res anti-glare, and the other said that they "probably do," but for me to call back in 30 minutes.
 
I called the Clarendon Apple Store in Arlington, VA and they have them in stock, but he said only the basic models, no high-res displays.
 
Just got back from PC world (I live in north england) and the guy said it will be a few weeks before they have any in stock. That's a bloody joke surely.
 
Shouldn't most, if not all, stores have them today? I thought all the shipments arrived earlier in the week and were just waiting to be unpacked.
