I've had this new MBP for just under two weeks and I've noticed that there are a few tiny scratches and chips - about 3 or 4 in total. They're very small and actually just look like dust until you realise you can't clean it off. I'm pretty sure I didn't cause them since they're at places which I barely touch. I'll stop noticing them after time, but I guess I just wanted to have the absolutely pristine new Mac feeling. What are everyone else's experiences like?

They scrach very easily. Overtime your will get scratches and dents. IF you are worried about it, you should return it within the first 2 weeks, after that you will have to deal with it. Your choice. I have recieved MBPs with scratches on them, if they were visable, and given how much I was spending I would send them back. I pay extra for it being an Apple product and when i drop £2000+ on a new computer, there is no excuse for it to come with scratches. If I got a £200 dell i would not care.
