Are visa mounts a game changer for dual displays?

I have two LG Ultrafine 4k's and thinking about mounts as the stand take up a large portion of my desk real estate.

I use a dual monitor Vesa mount. It frees up considerable space under the displays. I put my phone charge, Echo Dot, and Micca speakers under the displays. The only forward from the display is my keyboard and mouse.

They also let you angle displays and even rotate them 90%, which is nice for coding or spreadsheets with long columns of numbers.
