I had forgotten that XP lists my video ram amount as 512 mb (I only have 128 mb) until I started to install Assassins Creed which requires 256 mb. I guess the only benefit from this is that it will at least let us attempt to play games that we are under qualified to play based on our true video card specifications ram wise:D.

Are you asking if you are getting a false 512MB? If so, then no, your video card can't magically make more than it has...that's like buying a Honda and putting Lexus emblems on it...it's still a Honda.
