Are we getting the Near Field Sensor?

I have been watching these forum for quite a while lately and there has not been any talk about the NFC sensor at all.

As much as I wish we did, I don't think so. At least my main debit card has PayPass, so I can just tap my wallet instead of tapping my phone on the reader. Tapping the wallet still turns the cashier's heads, as they expected me to swipe the card.
