Hi,
I saw this the Xcellon DRD-101 at BHphoto and really liked it even though there are very few reviews on it. It was also $90. I decided to get the Newertech Guardian Maximus RAID 1 unit at $120. I had an older version that the USB 3 didnt work on. Not sure if that required firmware update to fix the issue. Anyway, the Maximus is good but a pain to put the drives in. The DRD-101 doesn't even require hard drive cages. Just slide the drives in. Is this safe? Anyway, just want to see if the enclosure is reliable. I also saw 5-bay RAID drive by Excellon.
I also saw some other similiar products on amazon.
