Just wondering if any of you guys are buying an extended warranty, and which one?

I usually don't buy them on apple products except for laptops because every laptop I've ever owned has had issues within the first 3 years so I always get my money's worth. I've never had an iPhone break on me after the first year.

Apple Care + incase I break it or decide to keep it longer than 1 year.

I think they will prorate the cost of Apple Care + if you decide to get a new phone one year later and buy Apple Care + again.

I'm pretty sure they did that for my daughters phone.

I'll buy a case and a screen protector because I firmly believe in protecting the device against accidents, but everyone knows extended warranties are for suckers.

Yep I'm getting squaretrade. Worked well with my iPhone 5 and plan on using them again

I pay a small monthly fee with my bank for extra services which include phone insurance, car breakdown service, card cover, etc.

Prefer that to Applecare as it covers loss/stolen also.
There is a £100 excess which is a bit.....excessive, lol.

That's what I'm doing. I'll probably spend $70-$80 on the case and screen protector, but it really shouldn't get damaged with those on it unless you run it over with a truck.

Squaretrade here. Same as Applecare but cheaper deductible. I can even take it into an Apple store and replace my phone and they'll reimburse me the cost.

First time I'm going to purchase AppleCare. Getting the 6plus and because if it's size I fear an accident is more likely to occur with it, whether bending in a pocket, falling or some other hardware issue happening down the road.
