Pretty sure people havent gotten their free bumpers from the "free case/bumper" program yet, unless they were refunded their money.

It would kind of be unfair if the exact same phone came out with the problem "fixed". That would mean that there really was an error on Apple's side and their "All phones have the issue, it's a normal part of smartphones" mantra would be a complete lie.
