Is it just me or are any of you having any of the following problems with Lion too?
I have never had to post here before Lion because I never had problems like I am currently having with Lion, and I've been using Mac OS since System 8. I have reset the PRAM several times which hasn't solved my problems.
1. Mouse scroll direction
Preferences randomly reset to reverse scrolling
2. Reopen windows when logging back in
OSX forgets what I ask it to do and opens them anyway
3. Preview / Single Page View
Not always remembered for documents, and where is the option for single page as default?
4. Finder / Arrange by Date Created / Icon View
I can't scroll horizontally with my mouse, I don't have a trackpad and there is no vertical scroll bar, which makes this useful view unusable for me, or am I missing something? I know I can click, hold and drag but that becomes useless over 10 documents.
5. iDisk
In SL, I could double click an alias, on my desktop, of a file stored on my iDisk and it would open. Now I have to manually open a connection to my iDisk and only then can I open the file by double clicking the alias.
6. iTunes / Multiple Accounts
I have several accounts at iTunes, as a result of moving house and country over the years. Everytime I switch accounts, iTunes automatically starts to redownload every file that I have purchased, that is not currently on my harddrive. For example, every Standard Definition TV programme of every series that I have purchased in HD... How can I stop it doing this. I don't want the SD versions.
7. Mission Control
Programmes seem unable to remember which 'space' they have been assigned to and randomly appear in other 'spaces', which defeats the point of having 'spaces'.
After upgrading to Lion and updating my iOS devices to iOS 5, can I downgrade my desktop OS to Snow Leopard or am I stuck with Lion?
