Dark Mode alone makes High Sierra a distant memory in my mind. I've been waiting on the News app on Mac for quite a while and know for a fact that the Continuity Camera feature will be a part of my workflow rather quickly during school.
Other than that, I'm still waiting until the next few betas of stability improvements and App Compatibility before I start making judgements.

Dark mode is pretty great so far I agree!

I haven't tried HS since earlier builds, and have Sierra on my internal

I think I'm gonna add HS to the APFS external tho

On a related but sidenote- pretty neat the one partition shares volumes on APFS, so I don't have to manage partition pies and re-claiming space, like Im used to on HFS/Sierra and earlier

Curious what your experience has been? :D

and what in particular is making you prefer Mojave?

Overall system fluidity, leanness, memory usage well within checks. Also Desktop Stacks. Got to love this particular feature. And also recent apps in the dock are a good touch.

I do not use Dark Mode, but good to know it is there if I choose to enable it sometime. Would like to have an automatic Dark Mode though, setting in after sunset and getting back after daylight.

I have answered no. But that is only due to the expected Beta experience. My test Mac sometimes doesn't react as fast as it did on HS.

But I can't wait to get Mojave on my primary Mac. Desktop stacks and dark mode is difficult to wait for. Also I have found several little things Apple have cleaned up here and there, which I really like.

They have indeed made good improvements to performance but I feel the last two betas have reduced overall performance in terms of graphics optimisation. They must be on top of this release left right and centre, and I cannot quite wait for them to finish their work on it.

I am on a 2016 13" MBP.

Undecided was my vote. Mojave needs a bit of polish, too many drivers for non-Apple peripherals not performing well but that's to be expected at this point. I haven't spent too much time with it but to dabble, will dive in a bit more after two more betas hit the interwebs. I do like Dark Mode, my CAD techs will love it when apps like VectorWorks get updated and certified...

Depending on the hardware it is hit or miss for me. But it has been this way for me for the last decade while testing Apple betas.

I really like Mojave - mostly because of dark mode, but I also like the smaller improvements, like Stacks, however I returned to HS because certain websites in Safari were painfuly slow on my 2016 15" MBP (mostly when using integrated GPU), and Messages was so laggy, that it was almost unusable.

I'll wait for the full version and install it on day one.

its much snappier and I like the dark mode
Yes - Dark mode shouldn't be scoffed at. Makes looking at an HS screen akin to staring into a flashlight. A long time coming and Apple has implemented it well (not easy) Most developers have always defaulted to a dark or midnight mode. Nice.

Also on my short list of end user improvements:

- Better QuickLook and built-in editing
- built in support for screenshots (shift-apple-5)
- News on macOS !
- New Appstore interface
- Stacks! (reminds me of Aperture photo stacks)
- just to name a few (still discovering)
- lots of under the hood improvements for developers (especially deprecating 32 bit apps in favor of 64 bit)
- stability and reliability (I think they're serious about fixing bugs this time)

Boring update all about dark mode to me its just to dark and look wierd and other than that minor things speed is much slower than hs

Definitely not... was tolerable until upgraded to 2018 MBP. It's a f**king nightmare.
