I love the name of this news story:
Yeah, we'll stop those ferns on your porch from stealing your identity! We'll be wise when those roses your boyfriend gave you turn out to be lying through their teeth, um I mean leaves!

Actually, the article isn't about plants that are deceitful, but about organisms (parasites and bacterium) that use mimicry to, for example, invade soybean plants. That's not quite as funny, but hunting for ways to catch them in the act is a cool use of technology anyway.
 
This is why I don't have any plants in my house. Well, that and the cats eat them.
 
This explains why my wisteria is so wysterious and my narcissus is so narcissistic.
 
Well it was already known that Venus Fly Traps were up to no good but now I am starting to suspect my ficus is a russian militant spy. :eek:
 
You know, I was missing $100 from my checking account and found my new checks that came in the mail in my ficus? WTF?????????:D
