Dealing everyday with all this smart AI suggestion - which is based on what you are doing, what you are watching or just where you are hovering the cursor tracking your screen pixels - I feel like my mind is in a kind of way "biased" and tend to discover things that are always stupidly connected each other by an artificial mind mapping and not mine.

Let's take a simple example from the most famous video platform by the leading AI/ads company:

Recently I had to start a fresh new Google account and with my surprise I rediscovered the Youtube suggestions.
I don't set my history/google data to auto-delete because sometimes I relate to something that I did/searched in the past but, on the other hand, probably it's good to wash out your "career" once in a while.

When you want to discover and explore content on Youtube it will always try to suggest you that "MacBook pro review" video of that youtuber that you have never been interested in, and guess what, if you give it some time and open youtube homepage they day after: here you are!
"Macbook pro - tips and tricks"
"What's on my Macbook!!!!"
"I explain you why apple became a multi billion company"

Okay. Listen, Sometimes I probably would watch one of those videos, but why you have to spam them constantly in this way to drive my mind from "let's find something to watch" ---> "you have to watch this because that's what you like"

It's just cool, but aggressively tiring. If I search a vegetable recipe because one night I want to cook healthy food, it doesn't mean I want to be invaded by vegetarian moms the following day.

The same logic can be applied to the news services, it is really good to just open up an incognito window and go to bbc.com instead of using Google news or whatever is artificially suggesting you a bunch of papers.
But an incognito window used for 18+ content by teenagers it's not the solution.

I think we should find a balance between the daily smart ai needs and when we really want a break from all of this.
Smart AI mail and calendar suggestion are good, but smart suggested content discovery based on profiling is becoming funny to me. That's why I don't believe in paying for personalized ads as well.
