When I´m starting my other iMac G5 rev A I get many horizontal flickering lines on the screen. Sometimes Tiger won´t boot so I have to reboot.

My new Mighty Mouse also doesn´t always work as it should. I thought maybe it is faulty, but now I´m not so sure.

My guess is that the motherboard is broken, but I still have to perform the hardware test. Luckilly this computer is still under the warranty, but a broken computer that is less than 1 year old is not what I had hoped. I initially bought iMac because I was tired of all the garbage computers I have owned.

My lesson learned is never to buy Rev A again and maybe my next purchase will be a nice IBM laptop that comes with a standard 3 year warranty.
