Damn, Im in the need for a new phone but was waiting for the latest iphone 5/6 (whatever it is). But since my current phone is broken should I just go out and pick up a 4s?

What do you guys think. I;ve been using an Android for the last year and now think I want to come back to apple for a while.

I would wait and if you must have a 4S then look for a local seller of one on Craigslist. We're about 3 or 4 months away from a new iPhone so no need to waste an upgrade at this point IMO.

yah this is what I'm thinking. It might be a waste of an upgrade. Ps I didnt really search this site before posting, as I havent been on the apple scene for over a year.

thanks again.

Utter utter madness for someone who visits forums about phones to buy a 4S now.

You could try reading the other threads already started on here about people in your same conundrum.

Last week my iPhone 4 was stolen and i didn't even hesitate at buying the 4s.
My intention is to sell the 4s and use the cash generated from that sale to put towards the next new iPhone.

yep, waiting it out it is. Either that or go with the Galaxy S III :p (kidding) which is available in canada right now

Wait. The next generation iPhone might be available as soon as August (but most likely late September or early October).

WAIT, if you are really into getting cool new phones you should always get it when it comes out not when the next due date is near and at the same price of the release day.

If you are on android stick with it a little longer.
If you have to have something new now I think you can still score an unlocked nexus for $349

And sell it off when the next iPhone is released

I Agree the nexus is an excellent phone and experience. And for 350 its downright fantastic. I actually prefer over the 4s. My favorite phone I have owned and one of the first that I haven't felt like upgrading from after a few months.

Unless I was completely out of a phone for the next 2 months...

...I'd still wait, lol.

If you have something to tide you over, even if it were an old crummy flip-phone, I'd definately wait!

I'm still rockin my old, battered and bruised 3GS that seriously feels as if it's on it's last leg, everything is slow and laggy and my screen is busted. I'm still holding out though! :D

"patience"

problem is my micro usb port on my android. wont charge unless i hold the thing tight. PITA...might see if I cant fix it.
